Kelsey Oudendag has recently joined the team at The Okanagan Table as Culinary Instructor.
Kelsey loves to play and talk about food all day and will be bringing that enthusiasm to the kitchen at The Okanagan Table.
Kelsey holds a Professional Cooking Diploma from SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology), a Red Seal Certificate (RSE) from Alberta Industry Training Authority, and Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant (CHNC) from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
She will create and lead our cooking classes at The Okanagan Table which will launch in February 2022. Kelsey has taught an apprentice cook program to Indigneous students, created mindful and nutritional menus for yoga retreats in Alberta & BC, worked as a personal chef and held teaching positions at SAIT and now Okanagan College. With this strong background in culinary education we can’t wait to have her in our kitchen teaching our guests new cooking skills while having fun in the kitchen!
Cheffing with Kelsey will launch in February 2022 with weekly cooking classes held on Wednesday evenings in the kitchen at The Okanagan Table.
When not in the kitchen at The Okanagan Table you can find Kelsey hiking up Knox Mountain, skiing at Big White or teaching in the Culinary Arts Department at Okanagan College.
