Demo & Dine “Knife Skills”

A unique class, hosted by Chef Bernard Casavant and a guest instructor Mark Puttick formerly of Knifewear, featuring “hands on” learning of some basic knife techniques.  You will be required to bring along your favourite knife, as we will also be demonstrating how to sharpen your knife properly.

WHAT WILL I LEARN TODAY

Knife Sharpening 101

Correct Method of Chopping Herbs, Parsley

Peel an onion and dice

Peeling garlic and mincing

Mincing chives

Speed peeling, fine dice and julienne cuts of a carrot

Proper cleaning, dicing, slicing of Bell Peppers

How to section a chicken effectively

Price includes this lesson, knife sharpening, light lunch and all guests will receive a new FDICK paring knife to add to your collection.
