Cheffing with Kelsey – Butcher’s Block, Meat Cutting & Cookery

If you have ever felt intimidated by the idea of cutting meat or unsure of how to prepare and cook certain cuts this is the class for you!  In this class we will explore and practice different meat cutting techniques which will allow you to feel more confident in your skills.  We will also learn recipes that are well suited for the meats we cut, that will highlight their flavour and delicious qualities.

How and where to shop for meat

How to shop for meat on a budget

How to prepare and cook meat properly

How and when to use herbs, spices, marinades and sauces with meat

Note: This is a cooking demonstration with guest interaction and demonstration of product and technique. All recipes will be provided so you can recreate everything at home! Please note that no dietary modifications or substitutions are available.
